What is a Higher Project Qualification and why should I choose to conduct one? The EPQ is a largely independent project which runs throughout the entirety of Year 12, with the final product being a 2,000 word essay on a topic of your choice. Under the guidance of your teacher, you will keep a ‘production log’ where you will detail and reflect upon each stage of your Pproject, from devising your research question, to conducting research, writing your essay and presenting your findings.
